About The Role
This full-time, permanent HR Administrator position in Bristol offers a salary of £28,000 to £30,000, with hybrid working requiring two to three days each week in the office. Joining a small, experienced team within an established business, the successful candidate will support the entire employee lifecycle. Duties span onboarding, contract preparation, record keeping, absence tracking, and responding to staff queries, so strong organisation, accuracy, and confident communication are essential. CIPD Level 3 or 5 study support becomes available after probation, alongside 25 days' holiday, a minimum 6% employer pension contribution, a health cash plan, and round-the-clock online GP access.

The role
Working as part of a supportive HR team, you’ll help keep day-to-day HR activity running smoothly while gaining exposure across a broad range of HR activities.
You’ll Be
- Coordinating employee onboarding and offboarding
- Maintaining accurate employee records
- Preparing HR reports
- Supporting learning and development activities
- Assisting with graduate recruitment
- Coordinating absence administration and records
- Supporting annual performance management administration
- Monitoring the HR inbox and responding to queries
- Getting involved in wider HR projects

What we’re looking for
You’ll need previous experience working within HR, with a good grounding in HR administration and a genuine interest in continuing to develop your HR knowledge.
You’ll Also Be

- Accurate with strong attention to detail
- Proactive and practical in your approach
- A clear and confident communicator
- Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information
- Able to work through unfamiliar tasks and find solutions

You won’t be expected to know everything from day one. You’ll be supported by an experienced team, with training and opportunities to learn as you gradually take greater ownership of your work.
