HR Administrator
Location: Batley WF17
Salary: Circa £26,000 per annum
Full-time | 4 days a week may be considered for the right candidate
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organised and proactive HR Administrator to join our friendly team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is at the beginning of their HR career and wants to develop their skills, gain hands-on experience and become a real all-rounder within HR.
You don’t necessarily need an HR qualification for this role. We’re much more interested in finding someone who is dynamic, high-energy, organised and keen to learn. If you have an HR qualification or some previous HR experience, that’s a bonus, particularly if you’re confident picking up some of the more straightforward HR tasks from day one.

The Role
You’ll provide day-to-day administrative support across the HR function, helping to keep things organised, efficient and running smoothly. As we’re a small team, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in a broad range of HR activities and develop a really good understanding of how HR works in practice.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and sending employment contracts and other HR documentation to new and existing employees
- Supporting the onboarding process for new starters
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records
- Providing general HR administration and support to the team
- Assisting with straightforward HR queries and processes
- Helping to ensure HR paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and on time
- Supporting the wider HR team with day-to-day tasks and projects
- Taking on additional responsibilities as your knowledge and confidence develop
The role will suit someone who enjoys being busy, takes pride in getting things right and is happy to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.

We’re looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Dynamic, proactive and enthusiastic
- A confident communicator who enjoys working with people
- Comfortable managing a variety of tasks and priorities
- Keen to learn, develop and take on new responsibilities
- Reliable and able to use their own initiative
- Interested in building their skills and developing professionally within HR
