Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in our Perth office.
Salary: £30,684 - £36,666 + a range of benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: 12 month secondment | Full Time | Flexible First options available
The role
At SSE, people are at the heart of everything we do. As an HR Administrator, you'll play an important role in creating a positive and supportive experience for employees and workers throughout their journey with us. Working as part of our collaborative HR Services team, you'll help deliver high-quality, accurate and efficient HR support across a wide range of employee lifecycle activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and continuously improving processes, while ensuring the highest standards of safety, confidentiality and care in every interaction.
You Will
- Provide HR administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contractual changes, transfers, leavers and retirement activities.
- Deliver a responsive and customer-focused service by managing queries through shared inboxes and service channels, ensuring colleagues feel supported and valued.
- Maintain accurate employee records, carrying out quality checks and audits to safeguard data integrity and compliance.
- Support recruitment and benefits administration activities, including interview coordination, pre-employment checks and employee communications.
- Collaborate with colleagues, managers and external partners to continuously improve processes while promoting safe, secure and compliant ways of working.

You Have
- Experience delivering high-quality administrative support within a busy operational or customer-focused environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information accurately and responsibly.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative and supportive approach to working with others.
- Confidence using Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams, alongside a proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement.
