About the Role
Tate are working with a local authority in their search for a HR Administrator on a temporary basis to start as soon as possible.
To provide a responsive, accurate, customer focused and professional HR resourcing service to hiring managers, employees, candidates and other customers in accordance with policy and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and support to hiring managers on all aspects of the recruitment and selection process, ensuring all guidance aligns with policy and best practice.
- Support the provision of a positive hiring manager and candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment journey.
- Develop and maintain a sound knowledge of specialised systems used within resourcing and wider HR.
- Provide support and guidance on job descriptions and person specifications, ensuring it clearly articulates the requirements of each role.
- Arranging interviews and processing paperwork.
- Responsible for quality checking all starter packs, references & right to work documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Responsible for quality checking all vacancy related information submitted by hiring managers, ensuring accuracy and compliance before advertising.

Skills/Experience
- Ability to advise managers on often complex issues
- Ability to deliver a highly professional and customer focused service to others.
- Ability to manage time effectively, by organising and prioritising tasks to achieve deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to quality monitor information and/or data to ensure accuracy, attention to detail and to maintain high professional standards.
- Ability to work effectively within a pressurised environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team and alone using own initiative to achieve positive outcomes for others.
- Microsoft 365 or equivalent, including email, word processing, spreadsheet, browser, team collaboration applications, and have a willingness to learn new applications and technology as required.
