Description

Employee Lifecycle & HR Operations

  • Managed end-to-end employee lifecycle administration, ensuring a seamless and compliant experience from onboarding through to offboarding.
  • Coordinated onboarding activities, including the preparation of employment contracts and offer documentation, pre-employment checks, right-to-work verification, and new starter administration.
  • Conducted regular audits of employee records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
  • Maintained and updated employee information within HR systems, ensuring all personnel data, organisational structures, and documentation remained accurate and current.
  • Coordinated induction programmes for new employees and monitored probationary review processes, ensuring completion within agreed timescales.
  • Processed employee changes including promotions, salary reviews, contractual amendments, flexible working requests, and organisational restructures, ensuring all records and documentation were updated appropriately.
  • Managed employee exit processes, including resignation administration, leaver documentation, system access removals, exit interviews, and associated reporting.
  • Supported payroll processes by preparing and submitting employee data changes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payroll deadlines.

Recruitment & Talent Administration

  • Delivered end-to-end recruitment administration support, including advertising vacancies, coordinating interviews, managing candidate communications, and liaising with hiring managers and external recruitment partners.
  • Facilitated a positive candidate experience by ensuring an efficient and professional recruitment process from application through to onboarding.

HR Administration, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Conducted regular compliance audits to ensure employee records and HR processes met legislative and organisational requirements.
  • Maintained and updated HR templates, forms, policies, and procedural documentation to promote consistency and best practice across the organisation.
  • Provided a professional first-line HR support service, responding to employee and manager queries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Supported data management, reporting, and record-keeping activities to maintain high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Identified and implemented improvements to HR processes and administrative procedures, contributing to greater efficiency, standardisation, and continuous improvement within the HR function.
  • Ensured the handling of sensitive employee information was carried out with discretion, professionalism, and in accordance with data protection requirements.

Profile

A Successful HR Administrator Should Have

  • Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role.
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or working towards (desirable)
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using HR systems (e.g. BambooHR or similar HRIS)
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • An understanding of HR processes and confidentiality requirements.
  • Knowledge of Right to Work checks and UK compliance requirements
  • Ability to work in Manchester full time.

Job Offer

  • Hourly rate of £14.00 to £17.00, dependent on the level of experience.
  • Temporary contract with potential for varied responsibilities.
