Job Title: Payroll/ HR Administrator - Maternity Cover

Location: Hertford

Reporting to: HR Manager

Role: On site

Responsibilities:

  • Administration of payroll using the ADP system. Obtaining and verifying data from various departments in order to prepare and process payroll on a monthly basis and dealing with any pay queries from employees.
  • To maintain the current timesheet platform Zoho Forms
  • Assisting the HR Manager with correspondence, administration of personnel records and keeping the HR system up-to-date
  • Providing administration support for meetings as and when required
  • Management of sickness policy. Analysing on a monthly basis and initiating actions required
  • To act as a contact for Operations staff when they are absent, notifying the Operations Department and following up on the required paperwork with individuals/ line managers following any periods of sickness etc
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis as needed
  • Administration of Company’s defined contribution pension scheme; complying with auto enrolment legislation; calculating and processing contributions each month
  • To take ownership of the Site Fitting Rota Database. Ensuring that the correct pay rates are maintained both annually and on an ad-hoc basis as required
  • To check, upload and process monthly timesheets for site fitting and production staff ensuring that overtime is ready for payroll
  • Liaise with the Operations Manager regarding any timesheets queries/ anomalies
  • Obtain a monthly list of rota adjustments from the Operations Department
  • Reconcile absences recorded on timesheets against those on the Company software liaising with the Operations Department to rectify any anomalies
