Venn Group is delighted to be recruiting for an HR Administrator on behalf of a well-respected national charity. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised administrator to join a busy HR team, supporting the full employee lifecycle and contributing to a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, including advertising vacancies, supporting hiring managers, managing applications, arranging pre-employment checks, and issuing offer documentation
  • Support the onboarding of new employees and volunteers, preparing contracts, arranging inductions, and maintaining HR systems
  • Provide administrative support across employee relations activities, benefits administration, absence monitoring, and staff changes
  • Maintain accurate employee records, update HR databases, produce reports, and ensure documentation is managed in line with GDPR requirements
  • Assist with learning and development initiatives, mandatory training records, and staff wellbeing activities
  • Monitor HR and recruitment inboxes, respond to queries, support payroll administration, and contribute to HR projects and process improvements

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in an administrative role within a busy team environment
  • Experience using HR systems or databases and maintaining accurate records
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and understanding of confidentiality within an HR setting
  • Experience within the charity sector or a professional clinical environment would be advantageous

Job Details

  • Location: North London
  • Duration: 2 month temporary contract
  • Pay rate: £18 - £20 per hour
  • Working hours: 35 hours per week
  • Working pattern: On-site working, flexibility to work from home 1 day per week
