About the Role
This isn't your typical HR apprenticeship. You'll work alongside experienced HR Consultants supporting businesses across the UK whilst learning how modern HR and recruitment really work.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Supporting HR Consultants with day-to-day client work across a wide range of industries
- Preparing employment documentation including contracts, offer letters, reports and HR correspondence
- Assisting with recruitment campaigns from vacancy creation through to onboarding
- Researching candidates using LinkedIn, job boards and other sourcing platforms
- Conducting talent mapping and market research to identify potential candidates for clients
- Helping to build and maintain candidate talent pools
- Screening CVs and supporting candidate communications
- Coordinating interviews and recruitment administration
- Supporting the onboarding of new employees for both Verve and our clients
- Maintaining accurate HR records, databases and CRM systems
- Assisting with HR projects including restructures, investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes
- Researching employment law, HR best practice and industry developments
- Exploring and implementing AI tools that improve the way we deliver HR and recruitment services
- Helping to automate internal processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
- Supporting the development of new workflows, templates and digital systems
- Producing presentations, proposals, reports and client documentation
- Assisting with marketing activities including LinkedIn content, employer branding and business development campaigns
- Supporting the delivery of workshops, training sessions and client events where appropriate
- Communicating confidently and professionally with clients, candidates and colleagues
- Attending client meetings and gaining exposure to real HR consultancy work
- Working closely with the wider team to continually improve how Verve delivers its services
- Taking ownership of projects as your confidence and experience grow
