We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and successful company in Fareham for an HR Administrator to join their busy HR team. Supporting a large workforce, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the HR function while providing first-class administrative support across the employee lifecycle.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous HR administration experience who enjoys working with data, systems and processes, and is keen to build a long-term career in Human Resources. You will need to be able to start at short notice.
The Role
This is a varied and rewarding position where no two days are the same. You'll provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team while ensuring employee records and HR systems are maintained accurately and confidentially.

- Providing day-to-day HR administrative support across the department.
- Maintaining accurate employee records, including holiday and sickness absence.
- Updating and managing the HR system to ensure data accuracy.
- Preparing new starter documentation and supporting the onboarding process.
- Processing leavers and associated HR administration.
- Responding to HR-related queries from employees and managers.
- Producing reports, maintaining spreadsheets and analysing HR data.
- Creating presentations and supporting HR projects when required.
- Assisting with recruitment administration and coordinating interview processes.
- Ensuring all documentation is handled with the highest level of confidentiality.
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and enjoys working with both people and data.
You'll Ideally Have
- Previous experience in an HR Administration role.
- Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- A professional, approachable and confidential manner.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to build relationships at all levels.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
- A flexible, positive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a close-knit team.
- A logical, analytical mindset with a passion for accuracy and continuous improvement.
