The Opportunity: HR Administrator (Temporary Contract)
Newcastle upon Tyne | 3-Month Temporary Contract | £30,000 Pro Rata
Are you an experienced HR Administrator looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Newcastle-based business seeking additional support within their HR team on an initial 3-month temporary contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous HR administration experience who enjoys working in a busy, fast-paced environment and is confident managing a varied workload while supporting the wider HR function.
The Role
Working closely with the HR team, you'll provide efficient and accurate administrative support across a range of HR activities, including:

- Maintaining and updating employee records
- Preparing contracts, offer letters, and HR documentation
- Supporting onboarding and induction processes
- Managing HR systems and personnel files
- Assisting with absence management administration
- Coordinating meetings and employee correspondence
- Supporting recruitment and right-to-work checks
- Handling confidential information with discretion
- Providing general administrative support to the wider HR team
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Previous experience in an HR Administration role
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A professional and confidential approach to work
