About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Part-Time HR Administrator to join our vibrant team. This role is vital in supporting the school's human resources functions, ensuring smooth administrative processes, and fostering a positive work environment. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications or experience in human resources, administration, or a related field. A strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, confidentiality, and data protection is essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to interact effectively with staff, external agencies, and stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management systems is desirable. The candidate should demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Previous experience working within an educational or public sector environment will be advantageous but is not mandatory. A proactive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to supporting the school's ethos are key qualities for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate personnel records and HR databases, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Assist with recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, posting vacancies, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new staff members.
- Support the administration of staff attendance, absence management, and payroll processes.
- Coordinate staff training and development activities, ensuring records are kept up-to-date.
- Handle correspondence related to HR matters, including queries from staff and external agencies.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for HR audits and inspections.
- Support the implementation of school policies related to staffing, equality, and safeguarding.
- Contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture aligned with the school's values.
