This vacancy, the result of an internal HR professional (placed by Able Bridge Recruitment), being promoted internally. The role holder will report into the HR Manager and will be office based. Our client is flexible on whether candidates work part or full time with the preference being 4 days per week.
The Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to support the HR department in the smooth administration of the HR department. The team is busy in nature so you can expect a wide range of tasks and responsibilities.
On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;
- Process new starter paperwork, carrying out pre-employment checks, sending documents to new colleagues and ensuring forms are returned as required
- Update absence records on the HR database, highlighting any concerns to the HR Advisor and liaising with payroll as required
- Update and review information recorded on the HR database, ensuring information is recorded accurately
- Process leavers in line with our usual practices in a timely manner
- Assist with all aspects of recruitment administration including placing adverts, dealing with applications, updating candidates on their progress, arranging interviews and keeping records about the status of each of our vacancies
- Generate correspondence using mail merge, DocuSign, letter and email templates and ensure they are tailored appropriately
- Process ad hoc changes to terms and conditions of employment
- Monitor HR and Recruitment inboxes, dealing promptly with enquiries and system notifications
- Contact colleagues and managers by email or phone to respond to queries or to provide information

We are looking for an HR Administrator who has 2 years of more experience of working within a busy HR team. From a personality perspective we are seeking a professional individual who understands that when the department is busy, everybody’s heads are down and the work is priority over the social aspects of a team. Candidates will need to have outstanding attention to detail, be able to prioritise tasks in an evolving environment and who can communicate with colleagues to answer questions/queries.
This is an outstanding position for someone who wants to gain invaluable experience within a fantastic environment.
Our client does not hold a license to offer study support so will only consider applicants who are able to work unrestricted within the UK and who are based in the immediate vicinity.
