HR Administrator (Mandarin Speaking)
Are you a recent Human Resource Management graduate looking to start your career in HR? Perhaps you already have some HR administration experience and are ready for a role where you can continue learning, broaden your knowledge and take on more responsibility.
We are looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused individual to join our close-knit People team in Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity to build strong foundations in HR while gaining practical, hands-on experience within an international organisation. As you develop in the role, you will gain exposure to all aspects of People Operations—from onboarding, HR administration and compliance to employee engagement, systems development and wider People projects.
You will also have plenty of opportunity to contribute ideas, help evolve how the People team supports the business and make a genuine difference to the employee experience.
About the role
- 📍 Location: Manchester
- 📄 Contract: Full-time, permanent
- 🕘 Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm
- 💷 Salary: £26,000–£28,000 per annum, depending on experience
- 🏡 Hybrid working available following successful completion of probation
What you’ll be doing
Working closely with the wider People team, you will help ensure that our day-to-day People Operations activities run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting employees throughout their journey with the company, from onboarding to internal changes and leaving.
- Maintaining accurate employee records and preparing HR documentation.
- Assisting with Right to Work checks, UKVI records and other compliance activities.
- Responding to day-to-day enquiries from employees and managers.
- Supporting HR systems, internal communications and People projects.
- Contributing ideas to improve our processes and the way we support the wider business.

Who we’re looking for
You might be a recent HR graduate looking for your first professional HR opportunity, or an HR administrator who is ready to take the next step in your career.
We would particularly like to hear from you if you:
- Have a degree in Human Resource Management, a CIPD qualification or relevant HR experience.
- Have a genuine interest in building a long-term career in HR.
- Are organised, accurate and comfortable managing several priorities.
- Are proactive, dependable and keen to learn.
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a small, supportive team.
- Communicate confidently and professionally in both English and Mandarin.
- Are comfortable working in a busy and evolving international organisation.
