Company Description

Foray Motor Group is the South West's award-winning Ford-only dealer group, with dealerships and service centres in Salisbury, Poole, Yeovil, Taunton, Andover, Shaftesbury, Bridgwater, Dorchester and Southampton. Position

Salary: £13,200 - £17,200.00 (based on NMW, dependant on hours worked)
Location: Edwards Ford, Salisbury
Contract: Part-time | Fixed Term Contract (up to 12 months)
Hours: Between 20 - 26 hours per week | Monday - Friday | Flexible working hours/days, within our core business hours 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

At Foray Motor Group, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for an HR Administrator to join our HR & Payroll Team on a fixed-term basis of up to 12 months to provide maternity cover.

Working from our Salisbury Head Office, you'll play a key role in supporting employees and managers across the business, ensuring a smooth and positive experience throughout the employee lifecycle.

About The Role

As HR Administrator, you'll provide comprehensive administrative support across all areas of HR, helping to ensure our processes run efficiently while delivering excellent service to employees and managers.

You'll be involved in a wide variety of activities including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, reporting, training administration and supporting key HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting and coordinating the onboarding process for new starters.
  • Preparing offers of employment, contracts and associated documentation.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems.
  • Processing employee changes and leavers.
  • Responding to day-to-day HR queries and providing guidance in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Supporting recruitment activities, including arranging interviews, liaising with candidates and coordinating pre-employment checks.
  • Producing reports and management information from HR systems.
  • Assisting with HR audits and periodic administration activities.
  • Supporting managers with probation reviews, appraisals and employee development processes.
  • Assisting with company training initiatives and events.
  • Supporting continuous improvement projects within the HR & Payroll Team.
  • Building positive working relationships with employees and managers across the business.
  • Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with GDPR and employment legislation requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll be:

  • An experienced administrator with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A Confident Communicator Who Enjoys Supporting And Helping Others.
  • Professional, approachable and able to build strong working relationships.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working to deadlines.
  • Experienced using Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and positive approach.
  • Adaptable and willing to support a variety of HR activities as business needs require.

Previous HR administration experience would be advantageous, although we would also welcome applications from candidates with strong administrative experience who are looking to develop a career within Human Resources.
