Job Description

HR Administrator

Role Overview:

The HR Administrator plays a crucial support role to the HR Manager, helping to ensure smooth and efficient HR operations. This role involves maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, responding to employee queries, and supporting HR projects and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job adverts, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires by preparing documentation, arranging inductions, and coordinating training sessions.
  • Respond to routine employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Liaise with payroll, assist with contracts, and employee changes such as promotions or terminations.
  • Help organise employee engagement activities and maintain staff welfare programs.
  • Support HR reporting and data analysis tasks as required.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies in all HR activities.
  • Liaise with external agencies, such as recruitment firms or training providers.
  • Provide administrative support for performance reviews, disciplinary processes, and other HR functions.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an HR support role.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of HR practices and employment law is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR software systems.
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • A level or equivalent qualification is required.
