This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing dynamic organisation. We are looking for a Junior HR Administrator to join our office on a part-time basis, providing administrative support across HR and Payroll.

Leonard Curtis is a market-leading professional services provider operating across the UK and Channel Islands. Since our formation, we’ve supported business owners and advisors by listening and offering practical solutions and tailored advice. Our expert team of specialists deliver positive strategic advice across restructuring and insolvency, funding and law across 30 offices and we remain the largest independent restructuring firm in the UK.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years’ experience in an administrative role, ideally within HR, payroll or a related field
  • Experience of working with confidential information and maintaining discretion
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Flexible attitude with an ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • A willingness to learn and develop within HR, payroll and talent acquisition disciplines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to the HR team, including maintaining accurate employee records and updating the HR system
  • Preparing and issuing letters, contracts of employment, and other HR documentation
  • Supporting the onboarding process for new starters, including preparing induction packs and setting up personnel files
  • Assisting with the processing of monthly payroll, including collating and inputting starter, leaver, and change of circumstance information
  • Responding to routine HR and payroll queries from employees and managers, escalating where appropriate
  • Assisting with the administration of employee benefits schemes
  • Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection requirements at all times
  • Assisting with the production of HR reports and management information
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider People team, including filing, scanning, and diary management
  • Having responsibility for additional ad hoc tasks as required

  • Salary commensurate with experience
  • 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday
