What is the role responsible for?
As part of the People Services team, the People Associate plays a key role in delivering a high-quality, responsive, and customer-focused HR service to employees and managers across Gamma. The role is responsible for providing efficient administrative and operational support throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring a positive employee experience while maintaining accurate records and compliance with company policies and processes.
The successful candidate will contribute to the continuous improvement of People Services, champion Gamma's values, and help foster an engaging and supportive workplace culture.
What will you be doing day-to-day?
Here are a few examples of what you could be involved with:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support across the full employee lifecycle, supporting the delivery of People Services to employees.
- Prepare and administer all employment-related documentation, including contracts of employment, contractual amendments, probation letters, and termination letters.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within the HR Information System (Dayforce), ensuring all employee data is managed in line with company policies and data protection requirements.
- Act as a key liaison between People Services and Payroll teams to ensure employee information is processed accurately and employees are paid correctly and on time.
- Manage and progress assigned tickets within the People Services ticketing system, ensuring queries are resolved accurately, professionally, and within agreed service levels.
- Act as an ambassador for Gamma's values and culture, always demonstrating professional behaviours and a customer-focused approach.
- Identify opportunities to improve People Services processes, documentation, and employee experience.
- Contribute positively to team objectives and support broader People initiatives and projects as required.

What you’ll bring
We’re especially keen to hear from people with some of the following skills:
Essential:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong team-working skills, with a collaborative and supportive mindset.
- Resilient under pressure and able to maintain a positive and professional attitude.

Desirable:
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in an additional European language (Spanish, Dutch, or German).
- Experience using HR Information Systems and maintaining accurate employee records.
- Understanding of the role and challenges of a People Services or HR Operations function.
