About the Role

We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented HR Administrator to support the day-to-day delivery of efficient human resources services. This role will provide administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, absence management and HR reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
  • Prepare HR letters, contracts, reports and other employment documentation.
  • Support recruitment activities, including posting vacancies, arranging interviews and completing pre-employment checks.
  • Coordinate new starter onboarding and ensure all required documentation is completed.
  • Process employee changes, including starters, leavers, promotions, transfers and changes to personal details.
  • Assist with payroll administration by providing accurate and timely employee information.
  • Monitor and record annual leave, sickness absence and other employee leave.
  • Respond to HR enquiries from employees and managers in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Support the administration of HR policies, procedures and employee benefits.
  • Prepare regular HR reports and provide administrative support for audits and compliance activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information in line with data protection requirements.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in an HR administration, personnel administration or office administration role.
  • Good understanding of HR processes and the employee lifecycle.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Experience using HR information systems or payroll systems is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
