Location: Grimsby

Working hours: 08:30-17:00

About the Role

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within HR and gain valuable experience in a busy, fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team, act as a first point of contact for general HR queries, and provide some support across payroll and recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day HR administration support across the site.
  • Act as a point of contact for general HR queries from employees and managers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems.
  • Support the recruitment process, including new starter administration, documentation and onboarding.
  • Provide administrative support for payroll, helping to ensure employee information and changes are recorded accurately.
  • Assist with absence, holiday and other employee records.
  • Support the HR team with employee relations processes and general HR documentation.
  • Ensure HR processes and records are maintained in line with company policies and procedures.

About You

  • Previous experience in an HR Administrator, HR Assistant or similar administrative role.
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Good communication skills and confidence dealing with employees and managers.
  • Some experience or understanding of payroll and HR processes would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience within manufacturing, FMCG or another fast-paced environment would be beneficial.
  • A CIPD Level 3 qualification is desirable.
