HR Advisor

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a fast-paced operational environment, where you will play a key role in supporting managers, managing employee relations matters, and driving effective people practices across the site.

We're partnering with a leading manufacturing organisation to recruit an HR Advisor to join their established HR team. From employee relations and performance management through to recruitment, engagement and absence, you'll have the opportunity to get involved across the full HR remit while working closely with managers at all levels.

The Role

As HR Advisor, you will provide day-to-day HR support across the employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on employee relations, performance and learning and development.

As HR Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert advice and guidance to managers on a range of employee relations matters.
  • Managing employee relations cases from inception through to resolution, ensuring a fair, consistent, and legally compliant approach.
  • Supporting managers in reducing absence levels through effective absence management processes, return-to-work meetings, and occupational health referrals.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records, HR systems, and documentation in line with GDPR and company requirements.
  • Supporting learning and development initiatives, including mandatory training compliance and employee capability development.
  • Ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
  • Promoting employee wellbeing, health and safety, and a positive employee relations culture.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
