HR Advisor
Our HR Advisor will support the delivery of a major people transformation programme, providing operational HR support throughout a period of organisational change.
Working closely with the HR Generalist, the role will coordinate people processes, maintain employee records, prepare documentation and support employee consultations, recruitment and workforce transition activities. The postholder will help ensure HR activities are delivered efficiently, accurately and in line with agreed timelines.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of workforce transition activities and organisational change initiatives.
- Prepare employee communications, consultation documentation and HR correspondence.
- Maintain accurate HR records, trackers and reports.
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities for new positions.
- Support employee matching and assessment processes by collating data and maintaining records.
- Provide first-line HR advice to managers and employees, escalating complex matters where appropriate.
- Arrange meetings, consultations and stakeholder communications.
- Work closely with the HR Generalist and wider project team to ensure a smooth employee transition.

- Experience in an HR Advisor, HR Coordinator or similar HR role.
- Good understanding of HR processes and UK employment law.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience supporting recruitment, employee relations or organisational change activities.
- Experience working in operational environments with frontline employees such as engineers, drivers, technicians, plant operators, shift workers or other site-based workforces.
- Understanding of workforce planning considerations within businesses operating shift patterns, rota-based working arrangements or 24/7 operations.
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
- CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualified (or working towards) desirable.
