Here at GXO, we're recruiting for a HR Advisor to join our Rockingham operation in Corby. This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday, where you'll deliver a professional HR service across the site, supporting managers and colleagues on all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
Working closely with the wider People Team, you'll play a key role in supporting employee relations activity, recruitment, engagement initiatives, and the successful delivery of the site People Plan while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.

What you'll do on a typical day:
- Provide HR advice and guidance on employment law, company policies, and best practice, supporting managers and colleagues across the operation
- Assist managers with employee relations matters, coaching, and developing leadership capability while ensuring consistency in the application of policies and procedures
- Support workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and organizational change activities, including restructures and consultation processes where required
- Build strong relationships with managers, colleagues, and external partners while supporting employee engagement, wellbeing, and retention initiatives
- Produce accurate management information, maintain site people data, and support continuous improvement projects across the HR function
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous HR Advisor or HR Generalist experience within a fast-paced operational, logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and the ability to apply policy and best practice in a practical and commercial manner
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills with the ability to build credibility at all levels
- Experience managing employee relations cases, supporting the full employee lifecycle, and producing meaningful HR reporting
- Ideally CIPD qualified or working towards qualification, with strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
