HR Advisor - Temporary
Location: Birmingham Salary: £40,000 per annum Duration: 1 month Start Date: ASAP
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a Birmingham-based organisation on an initial 1-month temporary assignment, starting as soon as possible.
This is a great opportunity for an immediately available HR professional who can quickly step into a busy environment and provide hands-on HR support from day one.
The Role
Working closely with managers and the wider HR team, you will provide practical and commercially focused HR advice across a broad range of employee relations and people matters.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
- Supporting with employee relations matters including absence, performance, conduct and grievances
- Advising managers on HR policies and procedures
- Supporting with investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation
- Working closely with the wider HR team to ensure a consistent approach
- Providing generalist HR support across the employee lifecycle
- Supporting with any immediate HR projects or priorities

About You
We are looking for a confident and experienced HR Advisor who can hit the ground running in a temporary assignment.
You will ideally have:

- Previous experience working in an HR Advisor/generalist HR role
- Strong employee relations experience
- The confidence to advise managers at all levels
- A practical, hands-on approach
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The ability to work independently and quickly build relationships
- Availability to start ASAP
