About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to join CMA Recruitment Group’s client, a prominent professional services organization based in Southampton. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a collaborative HR team where your expertise will directly impact the employee experience and organizational success. As an HR Advisor, you will provide comprehensive HR support across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies. The position involves working closely with managers and employees to address various HR matters, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and policy development. The ideal candidate will be proactive, solutions-oriented, and possess a strong understanding of UK employment law, with a passion for fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a generalist HR role, ideally at the HR Advisor level. Relevant qualifications such as CIPD Level 3 are essential, with a strong preference for candidates studying towards Level 5 or possessing equivalent practical experience. A comprehensive understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices is required to ensure legal compliance and effective HR support. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are vital for building relationships across all levels of the organization. The candidate should be highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a proactive, positive, and solutions-focused approach to their work.
Responsibilities
- Providing proactive HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of HR issues, ensuring adherence to employment legislation and company policies.
- Supporting employee relations casework, including managing disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance-related matters with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding activities to create a positive candidate experience and smooth integration for new starters.
- Coordinating employee benefits administration, including annual renewals, liaising with external providers and brokers, and ensuring employees are well-informed about their benefits.
- Assisting with HR projects, policy reviews, and process improvements to enhance HR operations and support organizational goals.
- Supporting learning and development initiatives to promote continuous professional growth among staff.
- Maintaining accurate HR records and supporting the preparation of key people-related reports to aid decision-making.
