Description
CMap is a fast-growing software company helping project-based businesses win, deliver, and manage work… profitably.
CMap builds software that helps professional services firms, from consultancies to architecture and engineering practices, win more work, deliver it profitably and make smarter decisions. We're a growing team with offices in Manchester, Cheshire and Orlando. We're collaborative and informal, and we genuinely value internal progression.
We’re proud of our product and even prouder of our people. Collaboration, openness, and input from across the business drive both our culture and our success. We keep things friendly and informal, but we’re serious about delivering value for our clients — and enjoying the journey together.
Love HR because no two days are the same? So do we.
One morning you're coaching a manager through a tricky probation conversation. That afternoon you're rebuilding an onboarding journey or finding the story in your people data for the leadership team. Key Responsibilities

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
