About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to join a highly regarded professional services organization based in Southampton. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a CIPD Level 5 qualification or be working towards it. Candidates should have previous experience in an HR Advisor or HR Generalist role, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practices. Strong analytical skills are essential for interpreting HR data and producing insightful reports. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are required to effectively support managers and employees. Familiarity with HRIS systems and maintaining employee data in compliance with GDPR regulations is also important. The candidate should demonstrate a proactive, adaptable approach with a commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, employment legislation, and best practices.
  • Support employee relations activities, including managing absence, performance issues, conducting investigations, and implementing wellbeing initiatives.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends and produce reports that inform strategic decision-making and improve HR processes.
  • Assist HR Business Partners with various people-focused initiatives such as employee engagement, organizational development, and process improvements.
  • Participate in diversity, equity, and inclusion programmes and support wider HR projects to promote a fair and inclusive workplace.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing the employee experience, reducing turnover, and fostering a positive organizational culture.
