HR Advisor
£40,000 - £45,000 (plus car allowance)
Location: Enfield, London, with regular travel to Bristol.
Travel: A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for this role due to the requirement for regular travel between sites.


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to join a growing People Team, supporting managers and employees across a diverse and fast-paced organisation.

Working closely with leaders across the business, you'll provide expert HR advice, manage employee relations matters, support organisational change, and help drive engagement, performance, and leadership capability. This is a varied, hands-on role offering the opportunity to make a genuine impact while partnering with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert HR advice on employee relations, including performance, absence, disciplinary, grievance, and probation matters.
  • Coach and support managers to build people management capability and confidence.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law, company policy, and HR best practice.
  • Facilitate early resolution of workplace issues through mediation and conflict resolution.
  • Partner with HR and People Services teams to deliver effective case management and a positive employee experience.
  • Support family-friendly leave, flexible working requests, and employee lifecycle activities.
  • Drive leadership development, employee engagement, and management effectiveness initiatives.
  • Contribute to HR projects, policy development, and continuous improvement programmes.
  • Support talent management, workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding.
  • Promote employee wellbeing, engagement activities, and internal networks.
  • Assist with organisational change and TUPE-related activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.

  • Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role.
  • Strong employee relations knowledge and case management experience.
  • Sound understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • CIPD qualified or working towards qualification (desirable).
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
