Ready for the next step in your HR career? Are you an HR Administrator, HR Coordinator or People Assistant looking for the opportunity to take on broader responsibilities and develop your advisory experience?
A well-established and highly respected Trade Publisher is seeking an HR Advisor to join its friendly and collaborative People & Culture team. This is an excellent opportunity for a developing HR professional who is ready to move beyond administration and gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle.
Working closely with an experienced team, you'll play a key role in supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations processes, payroll activities, benefits administration and learning & development initiatives. You'll become a trusted first point of contact for managers and employees while continuing to build your HR knowledge and confidence.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities
- Providing first-line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
- Assisting with payroll preparation, benefits and pension administration
- Coordinating learning and development activities across the business
- Supporting employee relations processes, including absence management and probation reviews
- Maintaining accurate HR records, systems and reporting
- Helping to identify and implement improvements to people processes and employee experience

About you
You'll have previous experience within an HR, People or Employee Experience function and be looking for a role that offers greater responsibility, variety and career development.
You'll bring:
- Experience within HR or People administration/advisory support
- Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding activities
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- A confident and approachable communication style
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and HR systems
- A genuine passion for people, culture and delivering an excellent employee experience
