We Are Looking For a HR Advisor

We are looking for a HR Advisor to join our team based in Skipton. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team, providing proactive HR advice across the employee lifecycle while coaching managers to effectively lead, develop and support our employees.

As a HR Advisor, You Will

  • Manage employee relations casework.
  • Provide advice on HR policies, legislation and best practice.
  • Coach and support managers on people-related matters.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and provide advice to managers on legal obligations, risks and best practice approaches.
  • Work collaboratively with the team of HR Advisors to provide a consistent and high-quality Advisory service by sharing best practice, learnings, and key actions.
  • Manage the transfers of employees across different parts of the business.
  • Support talent mapping and succession planning activities.
  • Assist with employee transfers, visas and right to work processes.
  • Work closely with managers to identify and deliver key HR initiatives specific to their business area.
  • Utilise HR systems to generate insights, monitor trends and support informed decision-making.
  • Support with Drug & Alcohol testing across the company, both on-site and for office-based employees.
  • Maintain HR records, systems and reporting.
  • Contribute to people initiatives and HR projects.

  • Experience in a generalist HR Advisor role.
  • Strong employee relations and case management experience.
  • Good knowledge of UK employment legislation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to coach and support managers.
  • Experience using HR data to identify trends and insights.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards) desirable.
