Location: Driffield, East Riding, YO25

Salary: £33,000 – £35,000 plus annual bonus

Department: Human Resources

Working Monday to Friday Mon-Thurs 8:30am – 5:00pm, Fri 8:30am – 4:30pm

Commutable from East Riding, Beverley, Goole, Cottingham, Market Weighton

About The Role

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join a HR team and play a key role in delivering a high-quality HR service across the employee lifecycle.

The successful candidate will take the lead on recruitment activity, particularly for senior-level and specialist positions, while also supporting the wider HR team across employee relations, onboarding, employee experience, retention and HR initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR or Talent Acquisition professional who enjoys working in a varied, hands-on role and is confident working with hiring managers and stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for senior-level roles.
  • Act as the central point of contact for recruitment activity across the business.
  • Ensure recruitment processes and approvals are followed consistently.
  • Support the HR team with lower-level recruitment activity.
  • Develop and maintain recruitment processes, matrices and competency-based profiles.
  • Create and oversee job descriptions and recruitment documentation.
  • Manage the offer and contract process for relevant recruitment activity.
  • Help reduce agency spend and ensure recruitment remains within budget.
  • Develop and maintain preferred supplier lists and recruitment partnerships.
  • Manage the IR35 process where applicable.
  • Work alongside the HR Manager to deliver the annual headcount plan.
  • Develop recruitment pipelines in partnership with departmental and divisional heads.
  • Support the implementation of HR systems and provide relevant training to new employees.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Work with the HR team to continually improve the employee experience.
  • Support the implementation of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and best practice.
  • Attend job fairs, conventions and educational events to support recruitment and employer engagement.
  • Support employee relations activity, including disciplinary and grievance processes.
  • Support employee retention initiatives and activities.
  • Analyse exit interview information and produce actionable management information.
  • Monitor key recruitment and HR metrics, including turnover, cost, attrition and retention.
  • Act as a point of contact for hiring managers, employees and colleagues across the HR team.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and retention initiatives across operational and factory-based roles.
  • Support the organisation's ESG strategy and implementation.

About You

You will ideally have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in an HR or Talent Acquisition role.
  • Strong experience managing high-volume, end-to-end recruitment.
  • Experience of headhunting and directly approaching potential candidates.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple recruitment processes and priorities simultaneously.
  • A commercially aware approach to recruitment and supplier management.
  • Good knowledge of HR processes and employee lifecycle activities.
  • Experience supporting employee relations would be advantageous.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification is desirable.
