Location: Park Royal
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
Working Pattern: Full-time, 100% office-based (5 days per week)

Temporary: 3-6 months with potential extension

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HR professional to take ownership of a broad generalist HR role, supporting managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations & HR Support

  • Provide professional HR advice and support to managers and employees on company policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Support managers in handling disciplinary, grievance, performance, capability, and absence management matters.
  • Conduct investigations and provide guidance on meetings, documentation, outcomes, and appeals.
  • Support organisational change initiatives, restructures, and workforce planning activities.
  • Assist with the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and employment law updates.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate and support the full recruitment process from vacancy approval through to offer stage.
  • Advise hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Conduct right-to-work checks and ensure compliance with immigration and recruitment legislation.
  • Ensure all pre-employment documentation is completed before offers are issued.
  • Manage inductions and support the successful integration of new employees.

Learning & Development

  • Support annual performance reviews and the employee performance management cycle.
  • Assist managers with promotion processes and personal development plans.
  • Maintain skills matrices to ensure employees are appropriately cross-trained.
  • Coordinate and monitor employee development and training programmes.
  • Deliver HR-related training and guidance to managers and supervisors.
  • Arrange external training providers where required.

HR Operations

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
  • Produce and analyse HR reports, data, and KPIs to identify trends and support business decision-making.
  • Support payroll processes by ensuring HR records and employee information are accurate and up to date.
  • Manage employee locker allocation and related administration.
  • Support HR projects, initiatives, and policy rollouts.

Health & Safety

  • Promote compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Deliver Health & Safety inductions to new starters.
  • Provide guidance to employees on Health & Safety requirements.
  • Report and record workplace accidents in line with company procedures.
  • Support the coordination of Health & Safety training, including Fire Marshals, First Aiders, Food Safety, and Risk Assessment training.

Employee Engagement & Retention

  • Work closely with Senior Managers and Directors on initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention, and overall workplace culture.
  • Support internal mobility opportunities and succession planning activities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify HR improvements and best practices.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a generalist HR Advisor role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience managing employee relations cases from start to finish.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with HR data, KPIs, and reporting.
  • Excellent attendance and timekeeping.
