Your new role

As People Services Advisor, this person will provide practical HR support to managers and employees, with a strong focus on ER, day-to-day queries and improving how People Services operates. The role combines hands-on HR delivery with an interest in using data, technology and AI to make processes simpler, more consistent and effective.

  • Experience using HR data, reporting and operational insight to spot themes, highlight risks and support better business decisions across the People function.
  • Strong involvement in global People projects, including change activity, reward and benefits, wellbeing, policy improvements, process change and HR systems work.
  • Confident in managing project plans, coordinating stakeholders and keeping work on track against agreed timelines and priorities.
  • Works closely with leaders, managers and wider People teams to understand business needs, provide practical advice and improve the overall employee experience.
  • Able to influence decision-making through clear recommendations, evidence-based thinking and a commercially balanced approach.
  • Brings a collaborative style and a strong focus on inclusion, consistency and continuous improvement across HR service delivery.

What You'll Need To Succeed

  • Strong hands-on ER experience, including managing employee relations cases, with sound knowledge of UK employment law and the ability to support matters through to a practical, commercial outcome.
  • Confident influencing managers, challenging where needed and using good judgement to balance people, risk and business priorities.
  • Able to improve ways of working across People Services, using HR systems, data and digital tools to make processes clearer and more effective.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to review information, identify themes and turn insight into clear recommendations.
  • Experienced in supporting HR projects and change activities, with strong organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities at pace.
  • A clear communicator who builds strong relationships, works collaboratively and handles sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
