HR ADVISOR | Derby | £32,000–£35,000

I’m currently recruiting for an HR Advisor to join a growing organisation based in Derby.

This is a great opportunity for an HR professional looking to develop and take the next step.

You may already be working as an HR Advisor, HR Officer, HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, People Coordinator, or similar.

The role

Working alongside the Head of HR, you’ll provide hands-on HR support across the business, including:

  • Employee relations
  • Disciplinary and grievance processes
  • Absence and capability management
  • Performance management
  • Recruitment and onboarding
  • HR policies and procedures
  • Employee records and HR systems
  • Payroll and benefits support
  • Employee engagement and wellbeing
  • HR projects and continuous improvement

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with around 3+ years’ HR experience who is confident dealing with people, comfortable supporting managers, and keen to continue developing their HR career.

You’ll ideally have experience in:

  • Employee relations
  • UK employment law
  • HR administration
  • Recruitment and onboarding
  • Performance management
  • HR systems / HRIS
  • Advising managers and employees

CIPD qualified or currently working towards CIPD would be desirable, but practical HR experience is more important.
