Shape the people agenda and help build a high-performing workforce.
Role Overview
Play a key role in supporting the achievement of site and business objectives through the delivery of an effective people strategy.
This is a varied and hands-on HR role where you'll work closely with site leadership to coordinate and deliver key people initiatives across employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, training and development. Supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you'll help ensure the business has the right people, with the right skills, in the right roles, while contributing to a positive culture and strong employee experience.
Key Duties
- Deliver people initiatives that support current and future business needs.
- Partner with managers to ensure effective workforce planning and talent development.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and induction activities across the site.
- Provide a professional and responsive HR service to all operational areas.
- Assist with employee relations matters and people-focused case management.
- Support organisational change initiatives, including restructuring and reorganisation projects.
- Drive performance management and development planning processes.
- Influence and challenge stakeholders to support business and people objectives.
- Help develop a positive culture aligned to Sofina values.
- Contribute to training and development initiatives that enhance organisational capability.

Ideal Candidate
- An experienced HR professional with a strong understanding of people practices and processes.
- Educated to degree level, CIPD qualified or working towards a relevant qualification, although this is not essential.
- Knowledgeable in employee relations and employment legislation.
- Experienced in supporting change management, restructuring or organisational development activities.
- Confident managing performance and development planning processes.
- An effective communicator who can build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Solutions-focused, with the ability to balance operational demands with longer-term business objectives.
- Experienced within an FMCG or manufacturing environment, which would be advantageous.
