Location: Manchester (Hybrid 2 days in office / 3 days from home)
Salary: Up to £40,000
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

The Opportunity

As a People Advisor, you'll be the go-to person for managers, providing hands-on HR support and guidance across a variety of people matters. You'll enjoy building strong relationships, solving problems, and helping create a positive employee experience from start to finish.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting managers with employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance concerns.
- Providing practical, straightforward HR advice and helping managers make confident people decisions.
- Supporting organisational change projects and wider people initiatives.
- Coordinating key HR activities, including on-boarding, performance reviews, and exit interviews.
- Reviewing and updating HR policies to ensure they remain effective and compliant.
- Using people data and insights to identify trends and support business decisions.
- Assisting with recruitment activities and HR compliance processes.
- Getting involved in engagement, well-being, and development initiatives that help employees thrive.

What We're Looking For
About
We're looking for someone who enjoys working closely with people and is passionate about delivering a great employee experience. You'll ideally have:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent HR experience).
- Previous HR generalist experience.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
- Confidence managing employee relations cases independently.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach.
