HR Advisor - Warrington

Quintessential Brands, the award-winning company behind premium spirits including Bloom, Opihr and Greenall's, is looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our Warrington-based People Team.

In this role, you'll provide proactive HR support across the employee lifecycle, partnering with managers and employees to deliver an excellent people experience while supporting HR, payroll and recruitment activities.

Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, you'll be a trusted partner to managers and employees, providing professional HR advice and support across a broad range of people matters. You'll help ensure our HR policies, processes, and resources are applied effectively, contributing to a positive workplace culture and an outstanding employee experience.

More about the Role

  • Be the first point of contact for HR advice and support, helping colleagues and managers navigate a range of people matters.
  • Support employee relations activities, including absence management, performance, disciplinary and grievance processes.
  • Manage key HR processes across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding new starters to supporting leavers.
  • Maintain HR systems and people data, producing insights and reports that help drive business decisions.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives covering engagement, wellbeing, reward, inclusion and culture.
  • Support audits, policy updates and compliance activities across the UK and Ireland.
  • Coordinate apprenticeships, visa administration and other people-related programmes.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues across multiple sites, providing practical and proactive HR support.
  • Working knowledge of employment law and the ability to apply legislation and employment rights in the workplace

  • Previous experience as a HR Advisor role is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and adapt communication styles to suit a range of stakeholders.
  • Resilient and confident in providing advice and guidance, with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and challenge appropriately when required.
  • Flexible, pragmatic, and solutions-focused, with the ability to balance business needs with HR best practice.
  • Customer-focused and approachable, committed to delivering a high-quality HR service and positive employee experience.
  • Able to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a wider People team.
  • Demonstrates discretion and professionalism when handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Minimum CIPD Level 5 qualification, or a clear commitment to working towards it.
  • Strong Excel skills, preferably including pivot tables, data sorting and formula creation for reporting.
