The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our Brands HQ team to provide high quality generalist HR service in the UK. You will work collaboratively with our managers to support them in the delivery of their People Plans.
This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
What you'll get to do
- Provide advice across all areas of HR, including maternity, paternity, flexible working, performance management, dispute resolution, and mediation.
- Work closely with payroll teams to ensure that any employee changes, such as reporting line updates, promotions, and resignations, are accurately reflected in the monthly payroll.
- Track probationary periods and partner with managers to ensure underperformance is effectively managed during the probation period.
- Generate contracts, change letters, resignation acknowledgements, references, and other ad hoc employee correspondence.
- Maintain employee e-files, ensuring all documentation is accurate, up to date, and compliant with GDPR requirements.
- Manage the exit survey process and support exit interviews where appropriate, identifying trends and providing insights to support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Support visa sponsorship application processes.
- Lead by example as a champion of our Values, Culture & Community by demonstrating our people values and recognising others who do the same.
- Support the Brands HR team with ad hoc HR initiatives and projects.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with the Brands teams.

We'd love to meet you if you have
- Relevant experience in a similar HR role. CIPD qualification (or equivalent), or currently working towards one, is desirable.
- Excellent understanding of HR processes, systems, and best practice.
- High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively and respond quickly in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Confident influencing stakeholders to ensure consistency in HR processes, building credibility through excellent service delivery and appropriate challenge where required.
- Passion for talent development and people-focused initiatives.
- Understanding of the importance of integrity, confidentiality, and compliance within HR processes.
- Proactive approach to continuous improvement, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to recommend effective solutions.
- High level of technical literacy and confidence in learning and using new systems independently.
- Collaborative team player with a positive and supportive approach to working with others.
