HR Advisor

Manchester | Hybrid – 2 days office / 3 days home | Up to £35,000

Are you an HR professional looking for a role where you can genuinely make an impact? We're working exclusively with a growing, people-focused technology organisation in Manchester to appoint an HR Advisor who can bring a practical, commercial and people-centred approach to the role.

This opportunity will give you the chance to develop your HR skills in a fully generalist role, being able to lead key HR projects, managing employee experience and engagement, and taking a lead with people development.

The role

You'll have the opportunity to work across employee relations, HR operations, engagement, policy, reporting and learning & development, while helping managers build their confidence and capability when dealing with people issues.

It's a varied role, so we're looking for someone who enjoys being hands-on, can manage competing priorities and is comfortable working independently while knowing when to draw on the wider People team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
