The Organisation

A well-established and values-led organisation is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join its supportive HR team on an initial 8-week assignment. This is a well-established Bristol-based charity and social care provider.

The Role

This is an ER-weighted HR Advisor position, supporting managers and employees across a range of people-related matters. This is a predominantly remote role, offering flexibility, with occasional face-to-face meetings becoming more common. Support is available from the wider HR team where on-site attendance is required. The successful candidate will primarily focus on:

  • Managing employee relations cases, including grievances and absence management
  • Providing practical guidance on HR policies and procedures
  • Advising managers on HR best practice and employment matters
  • Supporting general HR activity and administration as required to help manage workload pressures
  • Working collaboratively with the wider HR team to deliver an effective HR service

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
