Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, the HR Advisor - Business Services Projects will support the delivery of people initiatives, HR projects and change activity across Business Services, while providing high-quality generalist HR advice.

Working with managers and HR colleagues, the role will coordinate activity, track progress and provide practical, commercially focused support aligned to business priorities.

About The Role

The role combines project delivery and change support with responsive HR advisory work across the employee lifecycle.

Project delivery and coordination

  • Support the delivery of HR and business projects across Business Services.
  • Coordinate project activity, maintain action plans and track progress against milestones.
  • Use people data and insights to support reporting, decision-making and project outcomes.
  • Prepare clear updates and materials for stakeholders and project governance.
  • Support people strategy, change and continuous improvement initiatives across the HR function.

HR advisory support

  • Provide proactive, timely and high-quality HR support across the employee lifecycle, including performance management, family leave, secondments, flexible working, absence management and wellbeing.
  • Support managers with employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance issues, working with specialist teams where appropriate.
  • Coach and guide managers on talent management, engagement, succession planning and performance management.
  • Support cyclical HR activities, including performance reviews, budget planning and the annual reward cycle.
  • Build trusted relationships across Business Services and provide practical, commercially focused HR advice.

About You

Experience requirements

  • Strong current generalist HR knowledge and experience supporting a broad range of employment and employee relations matters.
  • Experience supporting HR projects, change initiatives or process improvement activity.
  • Demonstrable business partnering skills, including coaching, influencing and stakeholder management.
  • Commercial and pragmatic approach, with sound judgement, analytical capability and attention to detail.
  • Experience using people data to inform decisions and monitor progress.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain HR practice clearly and accessibly.
