Hays is delighted to be partnering with a well known public sector organisation who are looking to appoint an HR Advisor to their ER Case Team on a 6 month temporary basis. With a strong focus on people, culture and continuous improvement, the organisation plays a vital role across Scotland and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact at scale.
Your new role
As an Employee Relations HR Advisor, you will be part of a high-performing HR Case Management team, providing expert advice and guidance on a wide range of employee relations matters. You will support managers and stakeholders across the organisation, ensuring fair, consistent and legally compliant approaches to casework while promoting best practice and positive employee outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality ER advice, coaching and guidance to managers and stakeholders
- Managing a varied caseload including disciplinary, grievance, absence and other people-related matters
- Ensuring consistency and compliance with organisational policy and employment legislation
- Building strong relationships across the business to understand challenges and deliver pragmatic HR solutions
- Promoting best practice and supporting a positive employee experience

What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in Employee Relations or HR case management
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive and solution-focused approach
Desirable:
- CIPD qualification (or working towards)
