Regional HR Advisor

East Midlands & East of England (Hybrid Working)

Permanent

Loom Talent are delighted to be partnering with a leading 3PL logistics organisation to recruit a Regional HR Advisor on a permanent basis.

Supporting three operational sites across Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Norfolk, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and fast-paced logistics business in a true generalist HR role. Working closely with operational leaders, you'll spend one day each week at each site, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week, providing day-to-day HR support while helping to drive best practice across the region.

The Role

  • Build strong relationships with site leadership teams, providing pragmatic HR advice and guidance across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Manage a varied employee relations caseload including absence, disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, and performance management.
  • Coach and support managers through employee relations matters, ensuring a consistent approach and compliance with UK employment legislation.
  • Support all aspects of the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, contracts, changes to terms and conditions, and employee communications.
  • Work closely with Payroll and operational teams to ensure employee information is accurate and payroll processes run smoothly.
  • Produce HR reports and use people data to identify trends and support decision making.
  • Support HR projects and people initiatives including manager development, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently across all sites and remain compliant with employment legislation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience within logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or another operational environment would be highly advantageous, along with a good understanding of UK employment law. CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience) would be beneficial but isn't essential.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a growing logistics business where you'll enjoy genuine variety, plenty of autonomy, and the opportunity to influence the people agenda across multiple operational sites.

If this sounds like something you'd like to hear more about, we'd love to hear from you.
