You'll join an ambitious HR Operations team, led by our dedicated Chief People & Operations Officer, where people genuinely are at the heart of the business. As a trusted advisor to managers across Forge Holiday Group, you'll help shape great colleague experiences, navigate complex people matters and contribute to projects that make a real difference across the organisation.

Here’s The Deal:

  • 💰 Salary: Up to £30,000, depending on experience.
  • 🏢 Location: Based at our Chester HQ with travel to our UK locations.
  • 📆 Working Days & Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, 9am until 5:30pm.

  • 💻 The Work: A varied HR advisory role combining employee relations, coaching, organisational change and wider People projects.

What You'll Be Doing

As a trusted HR partner to managers across Forge Holiday Group, you'll:

  • Provide practical, commercially focused advice across a broad range of employee relations matters, including probation, performance management, disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, flexible working requests and workplace investigations.
  • Support managers to confidently navigate people matters, applying HR policies, employment legislation and best practice to achieve fair and consistent outcomes.
  • Support formal investigations, hearings and case management activities, liaising with Occupational Health and other specialist providers where appropriate.
  • Contribute to organisational change initiatives and wider People projects that enhance the colleague experience across the Group.
  • Implement HR policies and procedures in line with legislation, operational needs and best practice.
  • Produce and interpret people data and reports, maintaining accurate HR records to support informed decision-making and compliance.
  • Build strong partnerships with colleagues across Recruitment, Payroll, Learning & Development, Health & Safety and HR Services to deliver a seamless People service.
  • Keep up to date with employment law and HR best practice.
  • Travel to Group locations across the UK as required.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys building trusted relationships, solving problems and providing practical, balanced advice in a fast-paced environment that embraces technology and Artificial intelligence.

You'll have:

  • Experience in an HR Advisor, HR Officer or similar HR role.
  • Experience supporting managers across a broad range of employee relations matters.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • The ability to interpret policies, assess situations and provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence influencing and building relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret people data and identify meaningful insights.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
  • A high level of discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to travel regularly to our Chester HQ and other UK locations, with access to suitable transport.
