HR Advisor

South of England | £38,000 per annum + Company Car or Car Allowance | Full-Time, Permanent

Ready to make an impact in a varied, hands-on HR role?

We’re looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our established and supportive HR team following an internal promotion. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working closely with operational managers, solving people challenges and making a real difference across a regional business.

Ideally based in Surrey or Hampshire, you’ll support managers and colleagues across sites in Surrey, Hampshire and Sussex, bringing practical advice, sound judgement and a people-focused approach to a varied regional role.

With the autonomy to manage your own workload, build strong stakeholder relationships and get involved in wider HR initiatives, this is a great opportunity to broaden your experience and continue developing your HR career.

What you’ll be doing

As a trusted HR partner to the Regional Manager and operational teams, you’ll provide practical, commercially minded and legally compliant advice across a broad range of employee relations matters.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance on absence management, performance, conduct, capability, disciplinary and grievance matters.
  • Partnering with the Regional Manager and site managers to resolve people issues and support effective decision-making.
  • Coaching managers to build their confidence, strengthen their people management skills and handle employee relations matters consistently.
  • Managing your own caseload, prioritising competing demands and ensuring cases progress efficiently and professionally.
  • Supporting investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes, including preparing documentation and attending meetings where required.
  • Promoting the fair and consistent application of HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider HR team, sharing knowledge and seeking support on complex cases when needed.
  • Contributing to wider HR projects and initiatives that improve employee engagement, manager capability and operational performance.
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring actions, correspondence and case management activities are followed up promptly.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
