HR Advisor, French speaking
Location: Ellesmere Port
Hours: Office hours (onsite role)
Salary: £40,000
Type: Permanent
Additional: 25 days + BH, company pension, life assurance cover and private medical
French speaking- HR Advisor, our client a global manufacturing company, is looking to recruit an experienced HR Advisor for their rapidly expanding UK site. A key requirement is being fluent in French and English, both written and spoken. This is essential for the role.
The Role
- Manage recruitment processes from initial briefing through to offer and onboarding.
- Partner with managers on recruitment, interviewing and candidate selection.
- Provide practical HR advice on disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and probation matters.
- Support investigations and formal HR meetings, including preparation of documentation and outcome letters.
- Provide HR support to manufacturing and shift-based employees, including attendance, overtime and working patterns.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, producing key HR reports and data.
- Support policy, process and employee handbook updates.
- Provide HR support and communications for French-speaking employees, candidates and business contacts.
- Help develop and implement new HR processes, systems and reporting as the organisation continues to grow.

About You
Essential:
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor or HR Generalist position.
- Strong recruitment and employee relations experience.
- Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment.
- Good understanding of UK employment law and ACAS guidance.
- Confident working with HR systems and employee data.
- Fluent French and English - written and spoken (essential).
- Confident advising managers and handling sensitive employee matters.
- Comfortable working in a growing business where processes and systems are still developing.

- CIPD qualification.
- Experience recruiting technical, manufacturing or shift-based employees.
- Experience implementing or improving HR systems and processes.
