Southend | Part-time | 30 Hours per week
Are you an experienced HR professional ready to make a real impact in a values-driven organisation? I’m looking for a proactive and people-focused HR Advisor to join the team and play a key role in delivering a high-quality, responsive HR service.
What you’ll be doing:
This is a true generalist HR role where no two days are the same. You’ll work closely with managers across the organisation, providing expert advice and hands-on support across a wide range of HR activities, including:
- Leading on employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, performance & absence)
- Coaching and supporting managers to drive best practice and fair people management
- Monitoring absence trends and supporting wellbeing initiatives
- Local multi site HR meetings
- Supporting change projects including TUPE, restructures and organisational development
- Assisting with recruitment processes and onboarding activities
- Contributing to HR policy development and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For
- CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience)
- Strong generalist HR background with ER case management experience
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Organised, detail-focused and able to manage a varied workload
- Experience in health & social care (desirable but not essential)
