Reed Business Support are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable HR Advisor to join our team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive organisation where you'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality HR service across the business.
As HR Advisor, you will provide practical and professional HR support to managers and employees, helping to drive best practice across the employee lifecycle. You'll be a trusted point of contact for a wide range of HR matters, ensuring compliance, consistency, and a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
- Support employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance issues.
- Assist with recruitment activities, onboarding, and induction processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Support managers with performance management and employee development initiatives.
- Monitor absence, turnover, and HR metrics, providing reports where required.
- Ensure compliance with employment law and internal HR policies.
- Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support payroll and benefits administration as required.
- Build effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor or equivalent generalist HR role.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience managing employee relations cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification desirable.
