The Role

As HR Advisor, you'll provide day-to-day HR support with a strong focus on Employee Relations. Working closely with managers across the business, you'll advise on a variety of people matters and help ensure a fair, consistent and legally compliant approach.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing advice and guidance to managers on a wide range of employee relations matters, including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, capability, and suspension cases.
  • Managing a varied ER caseload from start to finish, ensuring cases are handled professionally and in line with employment legislation.
  • Supporting managers through formal HR processes, preparing documentation, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Liaising with Occupational Health providers and supporting wellbeing-related cases.
  • Assisting with Employment Tribunal administration and documentation where required.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider HR team to continually improve HR processes and service delivery.

About You

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar HR generalist role with significant ER exposure.
  • Confidence managing a varied Employee Relations caseload independently.
  • A strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to influence, coach, and support managers effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize a busy workload.
  • Experience within a fast-paced HR environment, shared service, or advisory function would be advantageous.
