About the Role

We are seeking an HR Advisor to join our team following an internal promotion. The primary purpose of this role is to provide expert HR advice and support to managers across the organisation, helping to deliver high-quality healthcare services.

We are looking for someone who can offer a professional and responsive HR Advisory service, demonstrating the Trust’s values while contributing to the People & OD Directorate’s objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong working relationships, enabling managers to implement effective people management practices.
  • Contribute to policy development and a range of HR initiatives as part of the wider HR team.

Role Details

This role will mainly support teams across the Pennine area through a hybrid working model, combining home working with attendance at key Trust sites. You will also provide support across Lancashire and South Cumbria as required, working within a flexible, collaborative, and supportive team.

In this role, you will be a key contact for managers, using a coaching approach to support them in managing a broad range of employee relations and advisory matters, including disciplinary issues, conflict resolution, sickness absence, organisational change, and performance management.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
