The role
We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to provide high-quality HR support and guidance across the organisation. You’ll partner with managers and employees, provide practical advice, support employee relations and contribute to HR projects, change initiatives and continuous improvement.
This role is based on site.
Responsibilities
- Advise managers and employees on employment law, HR policies and best practice.
- Manage and support employee relations, absence, performance and change management.
- Lead recruitment, selection and onboarding, including company induction.
- Support payroll and pension processes, ensuring accurate and timely monthly changes.
- Manage HR systems and employee data, ensuring accuracy and GDPR compliance.
- Support the delivery of health surveillance and occupational health programmes.
- Analyse HR data, produce KPIs and reports, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support training and development initiatives and wider HR projects.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and promote a positive employee experience and engagement.
Qualifications
- Level 5 CIPD qualification or equivalent.
- Experience as an HR Advisor or similar, ideally within manufacturing, distribution or a commercial environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law, employee relations and absence management.
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Confident using HRIS, Microsoft Office and Excel, with strong attention to detail.
